Star head of marketing receives CMO ASIA Award
Md Tajdin Hassan, head of marketing of The Daily Star, has been given “Best Marketing Professional” award of CMO ASIA Awards for excellence in branding and marketing.
This year, the award ceremony was held at Holel Le Merdien in Singapore, says a press release.
Professionals from Unilever Singapore, Oracle, Google India, DHL Express Singapore and Viacom 18 Media Ltd were also awarded in different categories.
Tajdin's one of the initiatives from The Daily Star has been recognised this year by World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and Facebook in the 17th edition of Asian Media Awards for community service category.
Apart from this, two of his projects from The Daily Star were also recognised last year by WAN-IFRA and Google in South Asia Media Awards in social media and digital marketing categories.
