BRAC Bank wins gold at Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards 2025

BRAC Bank has won a gold award at the 10th Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards 2025 for its "Automated Transaction Profiling Review and Adjustment" initiative.

The lender won the award in the Process Innovation category. 

Nurun Nahar Begum, chief technology officer of the bank, received the award at the ceremony hosted by technology company Infosys Finacle, according to a press release.

This global accolade -- selected from over 300 nominations across 10 competitive categories -- highlights BRAC Bank's strategic commitment to embedding intelligent automation and operational excellence at the heart of its core banking infrastructure.

The award-winning initiative transforms transaction profiling by incorporating real-time intelligence and automation to bolster regulatory compliance, minimise manual intervention, and refine customer risk assessments.

Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, managing director and CEO (current charge), stated: "The success of this initiative lies in the synergy between technology, governance, and people, driving transformation with meaningful impact."
