Dhaka int’l trade fair kicks off Jan 9

The 24th edition of month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF-2019), organised by the Ministry of Commerce and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), will kick off on January 9.

President M Abdul Hamid will inaugurate the country's biggest international trade fair to be held in Dhaka's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, said a release of the commerce ministry.

The DITF offers the local traders and manufacturers a unique opportunity to showcase their products and produces before an audience which is comprised of both Bangladeshi and international citizens.

At the same time, interested manufacturers and business houses from abroad are presented with the chance to assessing potential of their products in a fast expanding Bangladeshi market.

The first DITF was held in 1995.
