Shares on the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose today.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the bourse in the port city, surged 171 points, or 0.96 per cent, to 18094 at 12:05 pm.

On the CSE, 139 stocks advanced, 65 fell, and 27 remained unchanged.
