Most shares on the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose today.

The CASPI, the all-share price index of the bourse in the port city, surged rose 94 points, or 0.51 per cent, to 18,265 at 12:30pm.

On the CSE, 123 stocks advanced, 19 fell, and 66 were unchanged.
