Dhaka, Chattogram stocks inch up

The prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose slightly today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, added 4 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 6,264 at 12:40 pm.

Turnover stood at Tk 398 crore.

Of the securities, 121 advanced, 46 declined and 166 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained 13 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 18,494.

Of the issues, 68 rose, 23 retreated, and 92 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 8 crore at 12:45 pm.
