Dhaka, Chattogram stocks rise in morning trade

The indices of Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 9 point, or 0.15 per cent, to 6,227 at 11:05 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 222 crore.

Of the securities, 77 advanced, 37 declined and 152 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained 15 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 18,333.

Of the issues, 28 rose, 14 retreated, and 25 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 6.7 crore at 11:08 am.
