DSE, CSE up in morning trade

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 16 points, or 0.26 per cent, to close at 6,297 at 11:44 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 418 crore.

Of the securities, 110 advanced, 55 declined and 162 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, attained 43 points, or 0.23 per cent, to 18,548.

Of the issues, 65 rose, 26 retreated, and 48 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 4 crore at 11:45 am.
