DSE inches up, CSE edges down

Stocks on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) inched up in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, gained 4 points, or 0.06 per cent, to 6,249 at 11:25 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 111 crore.

Of the securities, 57 advanced, 94 declined and 116 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, lost 3 points, or 0.02 per cent, to 18,431.

Of the issues, 19 rose, 21 retreated, and 15 saw no price movement.
