DSE opens flat, CSE inches up in morning trade

The prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) was almost flat in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, inched up 0.5 point, or 0.009 per cent, to 6,215 at 11:20 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 133 crore.

Of the securities, 44 advanced, 49 declined and 136 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, rose 4 points, or 0.02 per cent, to 18,378.

Of the issues, 16 rose, 26 retreated, and 11 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 2.8 crore at 11:25 am.
