Bangladesh sets $72 billion export target for FY24

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi announced the target at a press conference at his secretariat office in Dhaka.

 

The government today fixed an annual goods and service export target of $72 billion for the current financial year, projecting an 11.59 per cent year-on-year growth.

Of the targeted amount, $62 billion has been fixed for merchandise shipment, up from $55.55 billion in the last fiscal year.

Export target for services for 2023-24 has been set at $10 billion, an increase of 11.11 per cent from $9 billion in FY23.
