Move to boost startups in Bangladesh

LightCastle Partners, a business data firm, is launching a comprehensive publication on startup ecosystem considering the recent rise of startups and investors’ interest in Bangladesh.

LightCastle, in association with The Daily Star, organized a roundtable discussion on the startup ecosystem in Bangladesh yesterday at the Daily Star Centre yesterday.

As part of the initiative, they presented primary findings from their surveys and held a discussion in light of those findings, a press release issued in this regard said.

Participants expressed opinions that the sector is just starting to ripen, and with the right support in place, things will take off much faster – generating boons for the economy.
