bKash’s Azmal Huda wins “Chief Technology Officer of the Year” award

Mohammad Azmal Huda, chief product and technology officer of bKash, won the "Chief Technology Officer of the Year" award for his significant contribution in enabling people with digital transactions through fintech innovations at the "Bangladesh C-Suite Awards 2022" in Dhaka recently.

Huda received the award from Nihad Kabir, barrister and former president of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, through a programme at a local hotel in the capital, a press release said.

Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF) organised the first-ever "Bangladesh C-Suite Awards 2022" to recognise the pioneers of the technology sectors.

The organisers named Huda for the award for building the best quality technology framework, enhancing customer-friendly services through continuous innovation and technology integration in the fintech arena since the beginning of the country's largest MFS provider bKash.

An advisory board rigorously judged over 100 nominations from more than 30 organisations for the 'C-Suite Award 2022' from where the award was given to 16 top corporate executives of Bangladesh under 16 categories.

Huda completed his BSc and MSc degrees in computer science and engineering from the University of Dhaka and did an MBA from the same university.
