DCCI team to visit Turkey

A delegation of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) will depart Dhaka tomorrow for Turkey to explore bilateral trade and investment opportunities.

DCCI President Rizwan Rahman will lead the 86-member delegation to its four-day visit to Istanbul, the leading chamber said in a statement today.

The delegation will visit Istanbul to further strengthen the existing friendly diplomatic and economic relation and open the door of new bilateral trade possibilities, according to the statement.

During the trip, the team will take part in several interactive business meetings with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, one of the largest chambers in the world, and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye.

The visit is expected to play an important role in expanding cooperation and trade, especially in the services, manufacturing and general trading sectors.

The trip will also help in attracting Turkish investment in Bangladesh and increasing joint venture activities in potential sectors, the DCCI said.
