Dhaka stocks down slightly    

Stocks declined slightly today as investors start the week on a cautious note.

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, lost 2.20 points or 0.04 percent to 5,192.22 as of 12:26 pm.

Around 131 issues advanced, 173 declined, and 87 remained unchanged.

Total turnover stood at Tk 169.05 crore.

Khan Brothers PP Woven Bag Industries and Khulna Printing & Packaging  led the gains, rising 9 percent each, while shares of Shurwid Industries   dropped 6 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.14 percent, losing 21 points to 14,480.91 as of 11:34 am today.
