Dhaka stocks down slightly in early trading       

DSEX lost 3.06 points as of 11:22 am  

Stocks start the week on a declining note today, as the losing streak of the Dhaka bourse continues for 6 consecutive days. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, lost 3.06 points or 0.05 percent to 5,130.85 as of 11:22 am. 

Around 151 issues advanced, 142 declined, and 80 remained unchanged, highlighting mixed trading momentum. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 117.61 crore. 

Shares of Sikder Insurance Company surged the highest 9 percent, while shares of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh plunged 14 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.12 percent, gaining 17.55 points to 14,369.46.
