Dhaka stocks keep falling
Shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange fell massively today as well, as worries over the economy's health weigh on investors' minds.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the DSE, shed 72 points, or 1.13 per cent to 6,358 at the time of filing of the report at 12:55pm.
On Monday, the key slid down 134 points, the steepest in a span of over two months to fall below 6,500.
At the start of the day, the DSEX rose slightly but began falling after eight minutes into the trading. At 12:30pm, it slid even further to 6,321 points before moving upwards.
Of the securities, 44 were up, 292 were down and 42 were unchanged.
