Stocks rose in the early hours of trading today, gaining for three consecutive days as investors look to recover from the previous week's losses. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 21.93 points or 0.42 percent to 5,217.76 as of 11:50 am. 

The trading movement was positive, as 250 issues advanced, 76 declined, and 66 remained unchanged.

Total turnover stood at Tk 234.81 crore. 

Shares of Best Holdings and IFAD Autos each surged the highest 9 percent, while shares of Associated Oxygen dropped 10 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.47 percent, gaining 68.63 points to 14,518.58.
