Stocks advanced slightly in the morning trade today, recovering from losses of the previous two sessions. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 5.55 points or 0.10 percent to 5,190.55 as of 11:22 am. 

Investor sentiment was positive as around 213 issues advanced, 72 declined, and 97 remained unchanged.

Total turnover stood at Tk 97.58 crore. 

Daffodil Computers led the gains, rising 9 percent, while shares of SBAC Bank dropped 4 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was down 0.14 percent, losing 20.68 points to 14,459.62.
