Gold price rises again by Tk 2,741 a bhori
The jewellers have decided to increase gold prices by Tk 2,741 per bhori from tomorrow.
Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (Bajus) today took the decision as the price rate went up in the international and local bullion markets.
As per the new rate, each bhori of 22-carat gold will cost Tk 81,298.
On the other hand, Bajus have decided to charge a minimum wage of Tk 300 per gram for selling gold ornaments.
On May 22 this year, each bhori of 22-carat gold price had risen to Tk 82,464, the highest in the country's history.
