Gold rises to Tk 99,144 a bhori, new record

Gold prices hit a historic high of Tk 99,144 a bhori and Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (Bajus) has decided to make the rate effective from tomorrow.

The Bajus shared the information through a press release today.

Bajus have revised gold prices on the ground of changes in prices of pure gold in the domestic market, reflecting high volatility.

On March 18, the association increased prices of the popular metal to its previous historic high of Tk 98,794 a bhori citing higher cost of pure gold in the local market.
