Hi-tech parks will be driving force for digital Bangladesh: Palak
Bangladesh has embarked on a journey from a labour-intensive economy to a digital economy and here the hi-tech parks will be the driving force, said State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak today.
Palak was delivering his speech while inaugurating Bangladesh Techosity Limited and Felicity IDC Internet Data Centre at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City in Kaliakair, Gazipur.
By providing data analytics-based solutions, Bangladesh will emerge as more prosperous than the oil-rich nations, he added.
He said more than 50,000 people will be employed in the hi-tech park in the next 10 years, he added.
The government has already made all the arrangements for the youth to help them become entrepreneurs instead of being employed to build a cost-effective, innovative and sustainable 'Smart Bangladesh', he said.
