IPDC Finance posts 17% lower profit in July-September

IPDC Finance Limited reported a 17 per cent lower profit at Tk 18.18 crore in the July-September quarter of 2022.

The non-bank financial institution made a profit of Tk 21.89 crore during the same period a year earlier.

Thus, its earnings per share were Tk 0.49 in July-September, down from Tk 0.59 in the same quarter of 2021, according to the unaudited financial statements.

IPDC Finance generated a profit of Tk 61.97 crore in the January-September period of 2022, again down from Tk 63.08 crore made during the same nine-month of 2021.

The EPS was Tk 1.67 for January-September versus Tk 1.70 for January-September of 2021. 

The net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk 22.66 in negative in January-September of 2022, against Tk 5.80 in negative during the identical nine-month period of 2021.

The NOCFPS decreased due to an increase in loan disbursement by Tk 605 crore and a decrease of customer deposits by Tk 525 crore, said the NBFI in a filing on the Dhaka Stock Exchange today. 

The net asset value per share was Tk 17.59 (with revaluation) and Tk 16.77 (without revaluation) on September 30 this year and Tk 17.12 (with revaluation) and Tk 16.30 (without revaluation) on December 31 last year.
