Born in Bangshal, Dhaka, to the late Mansur Rahman and Fatema Begum, Masudur Rahman was a beacon of perseverance and ambition.

His academic journey took him to the United States, where he graduated from Angola High School in Indiana in 1977 before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University in 1982.

His excellence was recognised early, as he was named Student of the Month and became a proud member of the prestigious Sigma Chi Fraternity.

In 1986, he married Farhana Shirin Rahman, and together they built a legacy enriched with love and values, raising their children, Mansura Fatema Rahman and Muizz Farhan Rahman.

Beyond his professional and family life, he found solace in sports, being one of the early members of the Kurmitola Golf Club.

His love for golf symbolized his spirit of discipline, strategy, and camaraderie.
