NBR’s female tax officers celebrate International Women’s Day 2023

The female tax officers of different levels of the National Board of Revenue's income tax department celebrated International Women's Day 2023 in Dhaka on March 22.

The programme took place at the Tax Club in the capital's Purana Paltan.

At the event, Rownak Afroze, commissioner of taxes and convener of the Women's Day Celebration Committee, shed light on the importance of women's day and how women are playing their roles in the transformation of the country.

Later, Ayesha Siddiqua Shelley, additional commissioner of taxes and joint convener of the Women's Day Celebration Committee, stressed the need for forming BCS Tax Women Forum for the betterment of the women tax officers.
