Stocks continue downward trend
Stocks continued going downwards today after losing points for four consecutive days at the end of yesterday's trading.
The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, lost 12.63 points or 0.24 percent to 5,154.19 as of 11:02 am.
Around 92 issues advanced, 176 declined, and 100 remained unchanged.
Total turnover stood at Tk 84.26 crore.
Bangladesh Industrial Fin Co and First Finance led the gains, rising over 6 percent each, while shares of Khan Brothers PP Woven Bag Industries Ltd fell over 9 percent.
CSE All Share Price Index was down 0.28 percent, losing 41.73 points to 14,398.06.
