Trust Bank posts lower profit in April-June quarter

Trust Bank Ltd registered a lower profit in the April-June quarter of 2022 compared to a year ago.

The consolidated earnings per share were Tk 1.03 in the April-June period against Tk 1.28 in the same period a year ago, said the bank in a filing on the Dhaka Stock Exchange today.

The consolidated EPS was Tk 2.22 in the January-June period compared to Tk 2.20 in the first half of 2021, according to the company's un-audited financial statements. 

The consolidated net operating cash flows, a measure of a firm's financial strength, stood at Tk 22.22 in the January-June of 2022, against Tk 2.40 in the negative during the same period last year.

The consolidated net asset value per share was Tk 28.51 on June 30 this year and Tk 27.93 on June 30 last year.
