22 young talents to represent Dhaka in national round of 'Brain Games Olympiad'
The "Horlicks Brain Games Olympiad," a first-of-its-kind initiative in Bangladesh, has selected 22 young talents from the Dhaka region for the national finals, which will take place in Dhaka.
The competition, sponsored by Horlicks, is designed for students from grades six to eight to foster intellectual development through a series of challenging games, quizzes, and puzzles.
This year, the Olympiad attracted over 22,000 students nationwide, to find the brightest young minds across the country.
The competition began with an online preliminary round, followed by regional rounds held in five locations: Rangpur, Khulna, Dhaka, Chattogram, and Mymensingh. From these rounds, 5,000 participants advanced, with 1,000 students representing each region. Ultimately, 22 outstanding talents from each region get chances to participate in the final round.
The Olympiad is not only a platform for showcasing talent but also a means to inspire and nurture the next generation of problem-solvers and critical thinkers. Regular initiatives like the Brain Games Olympiad could help prepare students across the country to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
