Hisense International president meets advisors Dr. Salehuddin, Sk Bashir Uddin

Hisense International President Catherine Fang met Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed and Sk. Bashir Uddin, Adviser for Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Textiles and Jute recently.

During the meeting with Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed at his office, Catherine Fang highlighted Hisense's strategic commitment to Bangladesh's growing consumer electronics market and its collaboration with Fair Electronics to locally manufacture high-quality products.

Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed expressed his appreciation for Hisense, a global -brand manufacturing consumer electronics products in Bangladesh. He was also pleased to know about the export opportunity from Bangladesh to the global market. 

The finance advisor also appreciated Hisense and Fair Electronics' joint investment plan in Bangladesh to create more employment opportunities, especially for young people.

Sk. Bashir Uddin also appreciated Hisense's interest for making Bangladesh as manufacturing hub for the global export market. He assured full cooperation to Hisense president.

Expressing deepest gratitude to both advisers, Catherine Fang highlighted the great business potential in Bangladesh and conveyed Hisense's interest in exporting consumer electronics products to other global markets from Bangladesh. 

She also requested cooperation from the government and regulatory bodies. 

Hisense has built an extensive network of 64 overseas offices to ensure localised operations that meet the specific needs of diverse markets. Its footprint extends across more than 130 countries. Hisense TV has ranked globally No. 2 and 100-inch Plus TV No. 1.

During the meeting, Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub, Chairman of Fair Group, shared his vision for exporting "Made in Bangladesh" consumer electronics to global markets, showcasing the country's manufacturing potential.

Mutassim Daiaan, Director & CEO of Fair Electronics, and Jason Wang, GM of Hisense of South Asia were also present at the meeting.
