Spectrum, a professional skill development club of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), organized JobSpecs 2025, a two-day national job fair, for the freshers and the graduates, in association with Keeron from January 13-14.

The Student Welfare Center (SWC) of KUET premises was bustling with crowd as more than 5000 students and graduates from across Khulna gathered, eager to seize the opportunity to connect with some of the nation's leading companies. 

A total of 19 companies including ACI Motors, AK Developers Ltd, Apex, bdapps, BRAC Bank, BSRM, Crown Cement, Excel Technologies Ltd. , Ha-Meem Group, Hamko, Link3, Meghna Group of Industries, Metrocem Cement, NAVANA, Pathao, Quest Global, Summit Communications Limited, and Tiger came together under one roof, offering a wide range of opportunities to the attendees. 

Some 60% of the attendees submitted their resumes to the participating companies.

On the final day, January 14, the job fair experienced real-life examples and career guidelines from sessions led by Ummay Afia Akhter, Manager HR (OD & TD) at Ha-Meem Group on "Excellence in Career" and Himel Dutta Newton, Head of HR at Excel Technologies Ltd. on "Career Planning for Freshers".

In the last hours of the event, the Vice Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mashud and Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Sk. Shariful Alam, handed out tokens of appreciation to the participating companies as a thank you for their involvement. 

Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, moderator of Spectrum, concluded the closing ceremony with his inspiring words, leaving all the attendees feeling proud and accomplished. "Where other students head to companies to look for jobs, our students brought the companies home," he said.
