Eleven teams have recently been selected for the final round of "r-ventures 3.0", a flagship digital entrepreneurship competition organised by telecom operator Robi.

The finalists were selected from top 25 ideas for the semi-final round of the programme.

The programme facilitates management advisory, mentorship and investor network access and funds for early-stage startups.

Robi, the country's second-largest mobile operator, will invest Tk 2.5 crore on the startups who will make their way to the top of this edition of the competition.

The finalists underwent extensive startup training from top industry experts earlier this month.

Following the training, the teams then presented their ideas to the jury panel, which included SBK Tech Ventures' Founder and Managing Director Sonia Bashir Kabir, Robi's Chief Commercial Officer Shihab Ahmad, RedDot Digital's Chief Executive Officer Hasib Mustabsir and City Bank's Head of Planning and Business Development Mujtanibul Ahmed.

The judges selected the ideas based on the strength and uniqueness of concept, business model, financial projections, and impact.

The grand finale will be held on March 5.
