One of the more significantly buzz worthy gadgets of Techtober was the OnePlus 6T. The flagship slayers journey from a modest midrange to an entry-level flagship device wasn't interesting but nevertheless mind-blowing. While OnePlus devices are still priced cheaper than the top dogs, the company has certainly drifted away from its initial goal which was to offer top of the shelf specs at bargain bin prices.

So what does this new phone have to offer? First of all, it is not the cheapest smartphone to pack a Snapdragon 845 under the chassis thanks to the Pocophone F1, but it is definitely far cheaper than Samsung's flagship Note 9. This time the phone comes with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and while this feature won't be as fast as a regular fingerprint reader, but it's a step in an innovative direction. The camera is exactly the same as it was on the OnePlus 6 except the improvements made to low light performance. Using the nightscape mode, users can expect a huge bump in the quality of photos taken at night when compared to the shots taken with the OnePlus 6. It comes with a dash charger too (although it isn't called a dash charger anymore). The battery life is outstanding as well as heavy users can expect to breeze through an entire day thanks to the 3,700 mAh battery.

The phone does not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack but if you are willing to spare $20, you can get the USB-C direct earphones for the OnePlus. The OnePlus 6T also has the OnePlus switch app which allows you to easily copy everything (and I mean everything including the app data) from your older smartphone.

The phone already sounds feature packed on paper and has so much to offer that isn't covered extensively here. But hold on because we are doing a detailed review soon; to share what our hands-on experience was like.
