Pen lets you 3D print objects in mid-air!
The AtmosFlare 3D Pen Set is probably one of the coolest things you will have come across in a long time! This brilliant little device costs all of $30 on Amazon with free Prime shipping and it lets you draw 3D printed objects in mid-air, reports BGR News.
It uses quick-dry plastic "ink" so you can draw objects that are dry and ready to be used in instant, reports BGR News.
The BGR News reports that when you have the ability to draw 3D printed objects by freehand, your imagination is no longer confined by two dimensions. You can prototype designs, build sculptures, enhance other mediums of art or even build cute little toys.
"AtmosFlare 3D pen set is a precision crafted art tool that enables users to draw 3D works of art horizontally or vertically in an intuitive, completely safe manner," the company says of its product.
"This revolutionary 3D drawing pen provides a true 3D drawing experience via a proprietary extrusion pattern and a clever, affordable refill cartridge system. The 3D printing technology provides an instant curing process for artist, crafters and makers and will revolutionize the way the world creates art."
One important note: the Amazon product page has a bunch of bad reviews from people because they were unable to find ink refills. If only there was a website called Google where people could go and search for things! You can find ink refills in a variety of colors for $19.99 per 3-pack right here on Best Buy's website.
As for the AtmosFlare 3D Pen Set itself, Amazon is definitely the way to go, where you'll find it for just $29.99 with free Prime shipping, and that includes two 3D ink cartridges, four pen tips, one AA battery and a quick start guide, reports BGR News.
