Based on information given by the duo, police also recovered the knife which was used for stabbing Talha.

Talha, a second year student of Daffodil University, fell prey to muggers near his home in the capital's Tikatuli on October 8 and lost his life after being stabbed by them.

Only 50 yards ahead of his home in front of a departmental store on RK Mission road, he was stopped by two muggers who snatched away his mobile phone and money brandishing sharp weapons.

A minute after Talha got mugged, the criminals stopped another rickshaw but this time Talha grasped one of the muggers from behind. Then, the mugger first stabbed him in his hands and then in his right thigh. He succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital later.
