2 killed in Shyamoli road crash

Two unidentified persons including a woman were killed as a truck ran over their rickshaw-van at Shyamoli in Dhaka early today.

The deceased were identified as a 55-year-old man and 25-year-old woman of Darussalam of Mirpur.

Officer-in-charge of Adabor Police Station Kawsar Ahmed suspected that they might have killed when a truck hit their rickshaw-van while returning home from Karwan Bazar around 3:15am.

Both of them died on the spot, he said.

The bodies were sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Morgue for autopsy, he said.
