ASK, Shujan concerned over NSU teacher missing
Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) and Sushashoner Jonno Nagorik (Shujan) today expressed deep concern over the missing of North South University teacher Mubashar Hasan.
The two organisations in separate press releases demanded rescue the people of different professions, including a journalist and a businessman, who had gone missing recently.
“We are very much concerned and upset over the incidents. It is not clear what the reason behind the missing of Mubashar,” said the press release of Shujan issued today.
“We demand investigation into the recent missing incidents,” the ASK said in another press release issued today.
Mubashar Hasan, assistant professor at the political science department, went missing from Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon.
Mubashar Hasan, assistant professor at the political science department, came out of the university around 4:30pm. Police said he last talked to someone on his mobile phone at 6:41pm when he had been near Lions Eye Hospital at Agargaon.
His disappearance, the latest in a series of such incidents in the country, has alarmed many people while his family members, colleagues and friends anxiously demand his safe return.
