Comedy actor Anis passes away

Veteran Bangladeshi actor and comedian Anis has passed away at the age of 78.

He breathed his last at his residence in Dhaka’s Tikatuli area last night.

The first namaz-e-janaza of the popular comedian took place at Tikatuli Jame Mosque around 9:00am this morning.

Later, his body was taken to Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (FDC) where his second janaza was held around 11:00am.

Anis will be buried at his birth place in Ballabpur village under Chhagal Naiya Police Station of Feni.
