Construction worker dies falling off building in Dhaka
A construction worker died after falling from an under-construction building in Badda area of Dhaka this morning.
The victim is Mohammad Rafiq, 28, son of Majibar Rahman, hailing from Laksam upazila in Comilla district.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Rafiq fell down from a six-storey building on road No. 11 in DIT Project area while he was working there around 5:45am, said MA Jalil, officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station.
Critically injured Rafiq was whisked off to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed at about 7:00am, the OC added.
