Workers work without safety gear at Secretariat

It is the heart of Bangladesh’s administration where The Daily Star found blatant ignorance of safety of human lives.

This video, taken at Bangladesh Secretariat around 12:30pm today, shows construction workers working at great heights with only a rope tied to their waists.

The renovation work there, where two dozen ministers and secretaries take seat every day, has been going on for some time.
