The main gate of Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj, which was under construction, fell apart today leaving several persons injured.
The incident took place around 9:00am this morning, said Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Police Station.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Suspicions are that it was poor grade construction that led to the incident.
The injured were given primary treatment, the OC added.
