Ekushey Book Fair extended by 2 days

The month-long Amar Ekushey Grantha Mela 2019 at Bangla Academy premises in Dhaka has been extended by two days.

Faisal Hasan, senior information officer of Cultural Affair Ministry, told The Daily Star that the book fair has been extended by two days in light with the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina following demand of writers and publishers.

Now, the country's largest book fair will end on March 2. The month-long fair was scheduled to end this evening with a closing ceremony.
