Fire at Gulistan underground market doused

A fire broke out at Gulistan underground electronics market in Dhaka this afternoon, which was doused within an hour without any report of casualty.

The fire originated around 3:15pm, Ziaur Rahman, an official from the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, told The Daily Star.

Seven fire-fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after an hour. A shop was damaged in the fire. However, it is not still clear what caused the fire.
