Student’s body found at Moinot Ghat, 2 still missing

The body of a student who along with two others went missing yesterday in the Padma river at Moinot Ghat in Dhaka’s Dohar was found this morning.

Fire fighters recovered the floating body around 9:00am, Palash Chandra Madak, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence, told The Daily Star.

The two other persons still remain missing till this morning when the report was filed.

The three went to visit Moinot Ghat, dubbed as mini Cox's Bazar yesterday, the fire fighter sources said.  

But they went under water due to the strong waves of Padma while taking selfie around 5:00pm yesterday, the sources added.

The identities of the three students are yet to be known.
