The suspected militants killed during today’s raid in Bosila rented the house as van-pullers about one-and-half months ago, lawmen said.

They identified themselves as Sujan and Suman, said officials of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) after completing the raid at the house.

Owner of the tin-shed house at Metro Housing Limited, Md Wahab, who has been detained for questioning, told lawmen that they were supposed to leave this month.

None of the locals could say that they ever saw them pulling vans. Some said they didn't even know that the duo, aged between 23 and 25, were living there.

Meanwhile, Mohammadpur Police Station sources have said that no tenant information was sent to police regarding the duo renting the place.

Two persons have been confirmed killed inside the suspected militant den in Bosila amid blasts and gunfire exchange during a crackdown.
