Two people including owner of the house in Dhaka’s Darus Salam area, where remains of seven people were found yesterday, were arrested for their alleged involvement in militancy.

Habibullah Bahar Azad, owner of the building, and Sirajul Islam, night guard of Bardhanbari area, were arrested as Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) primarily found their connection with the militants, Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Khandker Lutful Kabir, commanding officer of Rab-4, said while talking to reporters on the spot today.

They were shown arrested in a militancy case that accused “Neo JMB” militant suspect Tamim Dari, 32, on April 28. The duo will be interrogated in remand to get more information, the Rab official said.
