'Neo JMB' leader Marzan, aide’s bodies handed over for burial
The bodies of “Neo JMB” leader Nurul Islam Marzan, the operational commander of July 1 Gulshan café attack, and his aide Saddam Hossain were handed over to Anjuman Mufidul Islam for burial this morning.
The bodies were handed over to the charitable organisation around 10:30am, Dhaka Medical College morgue sources said.
Later, the two militants will be buried at Jurain Graveyard.
Marzan and Saddam, also a “Neo JMB” activist, were killed in an alleged gunfight with law enforcers on January 6 this year in Beribadh area of Mohammadpur.

Saddam was wanted in at least 10 murder cases, including that of Japanese national Kunio Hoshi murder, Jogeshwar Das Adhikari murder and attempt to murder of a Bahai community leader in Rangpur, according the Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
Nurul Islam Marzan passed Dakhil (equivalent to SSC) from Darul Ulum Markazia Madrasa in 2010 and Alim (equivalent to HSC) from Arifpur Fazil Madrasa in Pabna in 2012.
