2 construction workers die of electrocution in Dhaka

Two construction workers died of electrocution when they were working at an under-construction building in Dhaka’s Rayerbazar area.

Police identified the deceased as Asif, 25, and Rajon, 27.

The two were rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital after they came in contact with live electric wire, said Assistant Sub-Inspector Abdullah Khan of DMCH police outpost.

They were painting the third floor of the under-construction building in Hajaribagh area when the incident occurred.
