4 held at Rajshahi with fake Saudi currency

Detectives arrested four persons with stash of fake Saudi currency at Rajshahi city today.
They are all members of a money counterfeiting ring, our local correspondent reports quoting Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP).
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Two were held from the gates of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital, while the others were arrested from a hotel room based upon their information.
They were carrying fake Saudi currency worth SR 20,000, RMP spokesperson Iftekhayer Alam said at a post-arrest press briefing.
RMP identified the culprits as Md Tutul Mia, 45, Md Ilu Sheikh, 32, Md Momtaz Uddin Molla, 28, and Md Bablu Sheikh, 35.
