4-year-old’s body recovered from Dhaka canal
The body of a four-year-old boy, who drowned in Manda canal of Dhaka’s Mugda area yesterday, was recovered today.
A diver team from the fire service recovered the body of Asadul around 9:10am, said Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Asadul of Kadamtala drowned in Manda canal around 4pm yesterday. Divers had failed to recover the body and called off their search last night, the fire service official added.

Meanwhile, another team of divers are continuing their search for five-year-old Toha Moni, who has been missing since she drowned in a ditch full of waste in Kodomtoli area on Saturday afternoon, Ershad added.
