Abrar Fahad murder: Hearing on charge framing Feb 17
A Dhaka court today fixed February 17 for starting charge framing hearing against 25 Buet students in Abrar Fahad murder case.
Judge KM Emrul Kayesh of the Metropolitan Session Judges' Court of Dhaka set the date after scrutinising the case and other relevant documents.
During today’s hearing, 22 of the accused were brought to the court while three others -- Mustafa Rafid, Morsheduzzaman Jishan and Ehtashamul Rabbi Tanim -- are on the run.
On January 21st, the same court took cognisance of the charges against the same accused.
On October 7 last year, Abrar, a second-year student of Buet, was beaten to death by a group of Bangladesh Chhatra League men in a dormitory.
